Integrating cognitive contents in physical education classes

The aim was to analyse the effect of a 4-week programme integrating cognitive contents in Physical Education (CogniPE) on performance (CP) and emotional intelligence (EI) adolescents. A randomised controlled trial conducted with control group (CG, n=58), which performed physical exercises at low intensity (i.e., stretching or pilates), an experimental 1, small-sided games team sports (EG1, n=62), 2, CogniPE (EG2, n=60). Intensity scores were registered after each station classify motivate teams. Selective attention concentration increased by 11.9% 9.2% EG1, 18.2% 14.4% EG2, respectively, compared CG. Mathematical calculation improved 15.9% 18.7% EG1 In EI, well-being 10.9% sociability 12.8% EG2 It is concluded use school context.
